Onion Creek is a neighborhood in Austin.
Onion Creek is also the name of a creek that starts in Hays County, Texas and empties into the Colorado River (Texas).
==Geography==
Onion Creek is located at (30.141145, -97.789188), 10 miles (16 km) south of downtown Austin. In November 2013, AT&T announced that the Onion Creek neighborhood would become one of four Austin neighborhoods to get their new GigaPower high speed internet service.〔http://www.bizjournals.com/austin/blog/techflash/2013/11/att-picks-first-austin-areas-for.html〕
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.3 km²), all of it land.
